Marilyn Suchy Dies On I-79, Cranberry Two-Car Accident

Marilyn C. Suchy Death – Obituary : Marilyn C. Suchy, 61, of Mercer has died in a fatal car accident that happened near Cranberry on I-79 on Tuesday morning, October 19, 2021.

Suchy succumbed to her injuries on Saturday, October 23, following the car accident. She died of injuries suffered from the car crash.

According to authorities, the incident took place near the Evans City on-ramp on I-79 southbound when when an ambulance that was driven by 21-year-old Kendra Benton at high rate of speed crashed into Suchy car.

Suchy sustained life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital where she succumbed to her injuries in the loving care of her husband Bob and brother Christopher on October 23.

According to her obituary, “Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 100 Penn Avenue, Mercer, PA 16137 with The Very Rev. Matthew Kujawinski V.F. officiating. Friends and Family may call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday October 27, 2021 at Cunningham Funeral Home, Inc., 144 S. Pitt Street, Mercer, PA 16137. She will be inurned at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Lowellville, Ohio”
