Male pedestrian killed by skip lorry in Epsom
Surrey Police closed Surrey road on Thursday morning, August 5, 2021 in order to investigate a fatal crash involving a pedestrian.
The incident involving and 40-year-old male pedestrian and skip lorry happened on Thursday morning at about 5:45 a.m. on Reigate Road.
When paramedics arrived the scene, they administered CPR on the pedestrian but their efforts were all abortive as the man died on the scene.
Traffic and travel service Inrix reported a stretch of Reigate Road in Epsom was closed between College Road and Fir Tree Road at around 6.20am.
It was not made known if the skip lorry was standing at a place or if it was driven and the condition of the driver. Also, factors leading to the crash were not made immediately made known.
