M6, Charnock Richard shut down following a serious car accident
A serious car accident on M-6 has closed Charnock Richard services on Wednesday.
The incident occurred on September 22, southbound carriageway between J28 (Leyland) and J27 (Standish)
Emergency services were seen present at the scene
Police have closed the slip road of Charnock Richard for investigation but has reopened currently.
As a result, there is queueing traffic in the area, drivers are being redirected to take another alternative route.
Lancashire Police are still investigating the incident.
