The Los Angeles Police Department’s West Bureau Homicide Detectives are investigating a  fatal shooting in Los Angeles.

Officials of the LAPD responded to the 1300 block of Berendo Street on a shots fired report, early hours of Monday, September 6th 2021.

Officers on arrival, located a victim on the sidewalk. The victim was unresponsive and was pronounced death at the scene.

Authorities are yet to disclose the identity of the victim and are investigating to discover a possible suspect and to understand the motive behind the shooting.
