Jill Garrett Death – Obituary : WNEP announced the passing of a Long-time WNEP anchor and reporter Jill Garrett after a long battle with failing health. Born in Shickshinny formerly Wilkes-Barre, August 7, 1954, Garrett reportedly passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at home.

Newswatch16  confirmed that Jill was 64 years old when she passed and Jill will be certainly remembered as our five o’clock news anchor and later as our Healthwatch16 reporter. She was the daughter of the late Carlton and Mary Garrett.

Funeral Arrangements

Funeral arrangement were entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral and Cremation Services. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
