Liam Gillogly Death – Obituary : 16-year-old Liam Gillogly, a Centennial High School student has died from injuries suffered after he was struck by a car in Vegas on Saturday, September 25, 2021.
Gillogly was pronounced dead on September 25, following the car accident. He died of fatal injuries suffered from the car crash.
According to report, Gillogly was crossing Centennial Center Boulevard at Tropical Parkway against a do-not-walk traffic signal when he fatally struck by a Ford Fusion. He suffered life threatening injuries and was transported to University Medical Center where he was pronouncing dead after succumbing to his injuries.
Following his death, Freshman student, Andrew Pickup described Gillogly as “a brother figure and one of the first people he talked to when school started. He was always really intelligent, always on task, and I feel like he was a great person.”
Centennial High School principal, Keith Wipperman described Gillogly as “a superstar and an amazing leader and role model for other Centennial Bulldogs”
One of his classmates revealed that Gillogly was with his JROTC group, collecting money from cars when he was struck.
