Lauren Cho 30-year-old, a talented singer, disappeared in the area of Hoopa Road and Ben Mar Trail.
Cho taught high school kids but was not happy with her job so she moved out west with her boyfriend Cody Orell to California, from New Jersey, about eight months ago, and stayed in Morongo Valley.
Hi-Desert Star reported Cho went missing Monday June 28th at about 3 pm, around Hoopa Road and Ben Mar Trail, when her boyfriend briefly went into the tour bus they came in with. “I searched all in the hills and no tracks, anywhere,” Orell said.
Orell and her friends searched for her before calling 911, at about, 5:13 pm. Authorities said she got upset and walked into the hills between Morongo Valley and Yucca Valley.
Orell and their friends’ tracks were found by the authorities, but nothing about Cho. Orell believes she might have gotten in a vehicle with someone. He said she told him she was going to meet someone on Sunday but didn’t pry.
Cho graduated from Westminister Choir College with a degree in music education. As a talented singer Cho toured Europe with choirs as a teen. Cho Worked as a private chef before she disappeared.
Cho was last seen wearing a yellow T-shirt and jean shorts.
