Kimberly George death – obituary, cause of death : Kimberly George 50, of Lower Burrell. Has died. She was pronounced dead after fire accident.

Allegheny County received a call from a concern neighbor about a possible fire outbreak at 251 Trailer Blvd, in the city’s Kinloch neighborhood, around 11:15 p.m. the home of the victim. Responding to the distressed call, Firefighters from Plum, Arnold and New Kensington responded to the call along with the police department rush to the scene of the fire.

Firefighters battled heavy flames and eventually were able to put It out but unfortunately it was discovered that a woman had been trapped in the inferno, she was however pulled out and rush to the Allegheny Valley Hospital in Harrison, where she later died shortly after midnight.

The deceased woman was identified as 50 years old Kimberly George.

Lower Burrell Assistant Fire Chief Doug Morris said no firefighters were injured while battling the blaze at the one-story home.

“It was a quick knockdown,” he said. “No issues with water supply.”

The victim’s neighbors, Mary and Vince Tranchina live across the street from the house. They were inside with the windows shut and couldn’t hear much.

Vince Tranchina said he was able to hear banging and saw someone at their neighbor’s door likely trying to get them out.

Mary Tranchina said her family has lived in Lower Burrell since 2004, and their neighbors were there before that and are very friendly.

“You couldn’t ask for better neighbors,” she said.

Crews began clearing the scene around 12:25 a.m.

A state police fire marshal is investigating.
