Kenneth Gene “KG” Goss death – obituary, cause of death : Kenneth Gene “KG” Goss 64, of Greenwood, MS, is died. He passed away at his residence on Friday, September 10th 2021.

Kenneth was born November 22, 1956 in Grenada, MS, to John Chester Goss and Margaret Slawson Goss. He was a retired tree surgeon and a proud member of the Baptist faith and attended church in Grenada.

Goss had a caring heart, generous attitude and a fun-loving personality that laid the foundation for years of lifelong friendships. It didn’t matter what you needed, he would be there to help you celebrate, mourn, fix things, build something or to just listen and offer a shoulder to cry on or smile to laugh with.

He was a dedicated and loving husband, a father that demonstrated that greatness could be achieved through hard work and passion and a man that exemplified that a humble spirit and joyous heart could improve the lives of all around him.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret, sister, Margaret, brothers, James Earl Goss, Sr. and Marshall Dale Goss, Sr. daughter, Jessica Barmer, four grandchildren; and a number of nieces, and nephews.

Cause of death:

The circumstances surrounding the actual cause of death had not been made public as at the time of writing this report.

Funeral Arrangements:

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home with visitation 11 a.m. until service, with Rev. Lanny Haley officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Carroll County, MS.

Pallbearers will be Greg Stubbs, David Lewis, Michael Haley, Chris Clardy, Edward Earl Goss, Jerry Haley, and Robert Earl Minga.

Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
