Kendall Garrett Death – Obituary : Officials of the Jasper Police is investigating a shooting incident that left a man dead at the early hours of Sunday, according to reports.
31-year-old Kendall Garrett was shot and killed in a home located on the 400 lock of Hodges Street at about 3 a.m., Jasper Police reported.
Witnesses said he fled after being shot at and then collapsed outside. Garret was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, reports disclosed.
Authorities said no arrest has been made in the incident and investigations is currently ongoing.
Authorities said they believe that Garret broke into the home where he was shot by a man inside the home
Authorities are urging anyone with information on the incident to contact CrimeStoppers of Southeast Texas. Any information leading to possible arrest, identification or location of the suspect might be eligible for a $1000 reward.
