Kelp Beds Beach Missing Surfer – Western Australia shark attack

Kelp Beds Beach Missing Surfer – Search continues for male surfer missing along the Western Australia coast last Friday.

Shark attack is gradually becoming a frequent re-occurrence in the city as on Friday, 22nd of October 2021 a male surfer who was surfing along the south coast of Western Australia went missing following a shark attack.

According to multiple sources, the male whose identity has not been given was at Kelp Beds Beach near the town of Esperance where he was surfing and went missing. A statement by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development said: “involved in a serious shark bite incident”.

The attention of the police in the area was called to the area and an extensive search has been ongoing. During the search, his surfboard was reportedly found in the area but there still isn’t any sign of the surfer in the area.

Various beaches in the areas have now been closed as the search is ongoing. A marine search and rescue operation is being carried out for the man.

One of the reasons for a great white shark attack on humans is mainly based on mistaken identity, according to new research.

This is a developing story and it will be updated as soon as there is more information.

According to Wikipedia, “The south coast of Western Australia comprises the Western Australian coastline from Cape Leeuwin to Eucla. This is a distance of approximately 1,600 kilometers (1,000 mi), fronting the Great Australian Bight and the Southern Ocean.”
