Justín Javorek Death – Obituary – Former goalkeeper of the league of football clubs Tatrana Prešov, ČH, Slovnaft, and Inter Bratislava, Justín Javorek died Wednesday morning just after his birthday.
He became the first professional player of the Turkish first league, after leaving for club Mersin Idmanyurdu SK, in 1969.
He was a staff member of the Czechoslovakian national team when they won bronze medals at the 1960 European Championships.
After retiring, he worked as a coach in Rapid Bratislava, Trenčín, Bratislava Inter, Trnava, Prešov, Dunajská Streda.
He also maintained rich contacts in Turkey in this position, working in Galatasaray Istanbul and Altay Izmir clubs. TASR informed the Slovak Football Association.
The cause of his death has not been announced yet.
