Judith Chartier missing – New development surfaces in the case of missing Chelmsford teen after almost 40 years.
MASSACHUSETS, US State – Judith Chartier was 17-year-old when she went missing from Chelmsford in year 1982. She has been missing since then and no one had seen or heard from her.
The then 40-year-old was said to have gone to a party in Billerica and failed to return back home. She was last seen on June 5, 1982.

The 17-year-old was described as a White female who had brown hair and brown eyes. She was of a medium build.
Judith’s last known clothing description was not given.
Judith Chartier update!
A new update has surfaced in the case after almost 40 years Judith went missing.
The Massachusetts State Police Dive Team and civilian divers found a vehicle that has been identified to belong to Judith who has been missing since 1982.
The Middlesex District Attorney, Marian Ryan said “This is a very significant development in this case and we are still processing the car for any additional evidence, Sadly, this discovery comes after nearly forty heartbreaking years of Judith’s friends and family missing her and wondering about what happened that day. We are committed to continuing the search for those answers.”
The police are still carrying out an investigation into the case and the investigation is being headed by the Ryan’s Cold Case Unit and the Billerica police, Chelmsford police, Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to Ryan’s Office and the MSP Dive Team are all assisting.
NBC10 Boston said in a Facebook post “JUST IN: The car of Judith Chartier, a teenager from Chelmsford who disappeared in 1982, has been found in the Concord River, authorities say.”
Although sources say both her parents who were desperate to get answers have passed away. She also has relatives who would be happy to get answers after almost 40 years.
Nadine Roberts said “we consider her a cousin in my family. My uncle Willy’s daughter. Both parents have passed and always wanted to find her before they died. Very sad for everyone.”
