Joshua Castellano Death – Obituary : 35-year-old Joshua Castellano, a New Haven Police Department officer has died following a suspected DUI Rolls Royce accident that happened in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The fatal crash took place on Friday, September 17, 2021 at about 4 a.m.

According to report, a Connecticut police officer Robert Ferraro, 34, was traveling in a 2020 Rolls-Royce at high rate of speed own a Las Vegas street when the car crashed into a parked car followed by utility poles and a fire hydrant before flipping over.

The impact of the crash ejected officer Castellano from the car. He suffered fatal injuries, and CPR was administer on him before he was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Report has it that Castellano worked at the department for seven years.

On the other hand, Ferraro who was the driver of the vehicle was apprehended on Friday following the incident and he appeared in court on Saturday in Las Vegas where record showed that his bail was reset to $100,000.

He is facing charges including DUI of alcohol and/or controlled or prohibited substance resulting in death and reckless driving.

He reappeared in court on Monday and he was given the following conditions, he must stay out of trouble and is not allowed to have alcohol or drive and he must summit himself to electronic monitoring.

According to jail officials Ferraro remained detained at the Clark County Detention Center.
