Jose ‘Pepper’ Gonzalez Death: Obituary – Jose ‘Pepper’ Gonzalez a Legendary Tejano musician has passed away on Wednesday 8th of September 2021. His cause of death has not been determined yet.
Gonzalez was an original member of the popular group La Sombra and recently a member of Pio Treviño Y Magic. Pepper was also a guitarist.
In 1985, he joined La Sombra as a member. In 2014 Gonzalez was inducted into the Tejano ROOTS Hall of Fame for a career that spanned more than four decades.
For the past 10 years, he was known as a guitarist for Pio Treviño Y Magic and he is considered one of the greatest guitarists in the Tejano music industry.
Jose a native of Aurora, Illinois was part of “The Windy City Boys” for several years recording on many classic hits and albums.
