Jockey Miguel Mena KY Dies On I-64, Louisville Auto-Pedestrian Accident

Miguel Mena Death – Obituary : 34-year-old Olympic Jockey, Miguel Mena, of Kentucky has died from injuries incurred following a car-pedestrian accident that happened around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday night, October 31, 2021 on I-64 in  Louisville.

The professional Olympic Jockey who started his career in 2003 was either standing on walking when he was struck and killed by a car on I-64. He sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by officials following the accident.

Mena was born and breed in Lima, Peru. He was regular rider at Churchill Downs since 2006 and has had more than 2,000 wins.

He left behind his wife April and their two daughters
