Joannie Denise Bartley death – obituary, cause of death : Joannie Denise Bartley 29, has died, she passed away at the Pikeville Medical Center on Monday September 20th 2021.
Joannie was born on July 16th 1992 to her parents Alpha Hopkins and the late Thomas Hopkins. She was married to Adam Bartley, she was a teacher at Jenkins Independent Schools, and a proud member of the Pleasant Valley Church.
She was a perfect example of what it means to be a wonderful person. she had a calming presence and was extremely kind, she touched the hearts of so many, and was an inspiration to everyone who knew her.
Denise was a loving wife and mother who was best known for her infectious sense of humor and making everyone laugh. she was greatly admired for passion and love for the outdoors as she enjoys nothing more than spending time with her family.
The 29 years old had larger than life personality and beautiful accent made all who knew her feel incredibly comfortable. It also helped her tell great jokes and talk her way out of traffic tickets! She was infamous for her famed fairy tale.
She is survived by her husband and mother, her three sisters, Jessica Tackett, Zelbann Hopkins, Melissa Adkins, three brothers, Thomas Hopkins, Calvin Bentley, Eric Bentley, and a host of loving nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own.
Cause of death:
The circumstances surrounding the actual cause of death had not been made public as at the time of writing this report.
Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Church. Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday, Sept. 24, 2021 at 1p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Church with Gary Hall and Brian Hundley officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
