Family and friends have taken to their various social media platforms to pay tribute to the Lotoski

“It’s with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Joe Dye, a recognizable persona who casually went by “Joe Boogie,” and was always out dancing wherever he went. In the early days of Soundbarrier, he was a regular staple at our shows in Utica. He was always really easy to talk to, and simply enjoyed getting lost in the music.
We’ve also lost another friend of the band this week, Mr. Jason Lotoski. A true friend to all, and one I’ve never had a single bad thing to say about. May his loved ones take comfort in the fact that he left such an impression on so many people that he will never be forgotten.
Life is short. Keep it loud, experience everything, be nice. You never know how many lives along the way you’ll touch.

“Jason Lotoski I’m so glad I got to spend time with you at our volleyball games this summer. Cheers to always being a kind hearted and honest person who was always there for me. Rest easy”.

“I’m sorry if I haven’t answered your messages I promise I will get back to you, but I just wanted to share that I was in the Redwoods today in California because I know Jason Lotoski wouldn’t have wanted me to sit inside crying. He sent me his first sign that he’s safe- a four leaf clover. I’ve never found one in my life and if you knew him- you just know. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you”.
