Jaclyn “Angel” Dobbs missing – Concern grows for 1-year-old missing Illinois girl, whose mother has been found dead

1-year-old Jaclyn “Angel” Dobbs from Wheeling, Illinois, is missing, and an amber alert has been issued for the missing girl as police are desperately seeking assistance from the public in finding Dobbs, who might be in grave danger, as her mother Ja’nya Murphy, 21-year-old whom she was last seen with has been found dead, and police said the vehicle she was believed to be traveling in was located in Missouri, and she was nowhere to be found.

According to the Wheeling police department, the family of Murphy was worried after the 21-year-old mother did not return home, and reported her missing on Tuesday, at about 10:20 p.m.

The search for Ja’nya Murphy

The police acted on the report immediately, and set to contact the 21-year-old, which was abbortive as they were unable to reach her, hence joined forces with fire personnel, to look for the missing woman. A well-being check was conducted at Murphy’s apartment on the 300 block of Inland Drive, and the body of the 21-year-old was found there with the balcony door unlocked and and baby Dobbs, was not there, which sprout the search for the missing girl.

Jaclyn is described as a black female, about 2 feet tall, weighing 24 pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes.

According to police she was in a maroon 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan with the Illinois license plate FP139293, but as the time the vehicle was located in Missouri, the baby was not there. Enquiries are on going to locate the 1-year-old and any help from you will be appreciated by the Wheeling police department.
