She was also a member of the Beta Club. Sis was a standout cheerleader and on her high school’s Homecoming Court.

She had a career as an elementary school educator and as her family grew, she directed her efforts to creating the most loving, welcoming home for her husband and children.
Sis demonstrated all of the fruit of the Spirit. – Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

A devoted wife and mother, her passion was for her family. She gave them nothing shy of unconditional love, and her family felt nothing less than being unconditionally loved by her. A humble, sweet spirit, Sis was always remarkably present with the people who were in her midst. She focused solely on their needs and lived her life as a tireless nurturer. Her kids can tell you that they lived freely in her love, as she never asked or even expected them to be anything other than who they are. Sis was a beacon of light. She spent her life noticing and celebrating the seemingly small things in other’s lives. She displayed quiet wisdom. She was a picture of grit and grace, and her craft was comforting the minds and hearts of her people.
