Who is Betty Wollfarth Campbell?
The great grandmother of many was born in New Orleans on August 28, 1932. Her parents were Julius and Marie Wolfforth and spent her childhood in the Irish Channel region of New Orleans. At 11, her mother (Mary) passed away and she moved to Rosedale in Los Angeles where she lived with her grandfather.
It is regrettable to announce that the 89 years old, from Mandeville, died on the 3rd of September 2021. She is survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 greatgrandchildren, a great great great grand son and her 4 children and 1 adopted son named Ken Haggard Well.

According to reports Betty was raised by her 4 aunts and grandfather, she’s always seen in their company as she’s so fond of them. She left Rosedale High School as a farewell speaker. Betty and Oscar lee met in Rosedale, he died in 2007 when their marriage was 54 years. The couple relocated to Gonzales in LA in 1953 and groomed their kids on the family farm.
According to reports her grandchildren were so fond of her as they are always seen in her company. Betty is reportedly known to spend her time in Pierre Pat’s camp and her small garden. She decided to move to Covington, there she got close to her kids and became the grandmother of any one that comes across her and she’s made new companions in 2008.
According to sources, the deceas4ed is a devout Catholic, and her belief is her foundation. She was loved by anyone who knows her as she is a caring Christian, she made new companions and became a surrogate mother for their excellent employees. She moved to St, Anthony’s Assistant Living where she had a great time in 2017.
Her funeral mass will hold at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (76940 Gum St., Grosse Tete, LA 70740) on the 8th of September 2021, time is 10 am. As a result of the COVID-19 restrictions, family and friends who can’t make it are advised to stream on Facebook. Our thoughts are with the family.
