1 dead, 2 injured in Indianapolis northeast side four car accident

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, one person has died, and two others hurt following northeast side four-car accident that happened around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Investigators revealed that, the incident happened at the intersection of 2300 and 2400 blocks of E. 38th Street and Keystone Avenue when a car crashed into three other cars after a trooper attempted to stop it for alleged traffic violation.

The driver did not stop but instead fled the scene at high speed and moments later did not yield to a traffic light, drove through the intersection and struck three other cars.  According to officer, the officer that attempted to stop the car did no initiate a pursuit when the car fled the scene.

Following the crash, one of the drivers was the sole occupant of the car was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. while the striking car driver was hospitalized in critical condition, while a passenger in his car was hospitalized in serious but stable condition. Meanwhile, the two other people in the two other cars were evaluated at the scene and released
