Ian Gray Missing – A man,66-year-old,went missing on 11th September, 2015, after he was been seen by one of his relative leaving in a White Holden Rodeo four-wheel drive, bearing NSW plates AG-46-AJ from his Bunnaloo Road property at Mathoura, south of Deniliquin.
Mick Stoltenberg, Detective Chief Inspector said on Friday that no trace of Mr Ian or his car had been found or sighted.
“None of his bank accounts have been utilized in that six-year period,” he said. “Let’s be realistic here, we’re talking about something that stinks and he’s got a family out there and they’re really concerned.”
Barry and Peter, Ian brothers issued a joint statement via the Police, saying they found it “amazing” there had been no sightings, but they acknowledged the police investigations, having hopes of reuniting with their brother Ian soon.
Authorities say all possible avenues, whether personal or business-related, were being explored and any information would be very welcome.
“We’re not discounting anything .. we’ve got our eyes wide open,”
The manager of Murray River Police region crime was pessimistic when he was asked if Ian would be found. then he said, “I’m not confident, which is a terrible thing for the family, but again let’s hope for a miracle,” Chief Inspector Stoltenberg said.
