Woman arrested over the case of Huw Williams, 25 year-old Chester man missing for over three months.

Huw Williams who recently moved to Nottingham to live with a woman he met through a friend last Christmas has been reported missing and the police has recently arrested a woman suspected to be linked to his disappearance.

The 25 year-old was seen last at Sherwood area of Nottingham on Thursday, May 6, no one has seen or heard from him since then. During the search The Police found his phone smashed on the floor.

Nottinghamshire Police said his disappearance is an ‘unusual’ one. “Huw appears to have just vanished and we can find no signs of anything which may indicate where he is,” A detective in the case said. The detective also said they had made an arrest of a 34-year-old woman on suspicion of grievous bodily harm in connection with the case and a property is currently being searched at an address in Danethorpe Vale in the Sherwood area where he last resided. She was later released on bail and asked not to leave the country.

Huw is described as a White male who is approximately 6’2″ feet tall, has a slim built. He also has grey eyes, brown hair and beards.

The 25 year-old was seen last wearing a  cheque  shirt, dark blue trousers and trainers with reflective silver stripes. He may also have a green waterproof jacket with him.

Steve Williams, Huw’s father side “Huw has high-functioning autism, which can make him vulnerable, and our biggest worry is that someone may have exploited this in him, I would like to say to Huw, no matter what you are thinking, or how difficult you think the situation is, we just want you to make contact. You don’t need to come home, we just want to know you are safe and well.”

Huw’s family is devastated and is asking the help of the public to find him. They ask anyone who has seen something, heard something or have any information on the whereabouts or any lead on the case of Huw should please call 911.
