According to reports, Police are searching for a man wanted in connection to a shooting in east Houston area that left one person injured.

The incident took place at about 2:30 a.m. on July 25 at the Friendly Food Mart along the Eastex Freeway near Market Street, police stated.

According to authorities 29-year-old Damarian Blake was in the parking lot when he was approached by Terrance Lane,28.

According to reports, Lane headbutted Blake and punched him in the face, then Blake pulled out a gun and shot at Lane.

Lane was hit in the chest, arm and abdomen, authorities stated.

Officers disclosed Lane was transported to a hospital, where he was listed in a stable condition.

Blake was described as a slim Black man, was wearing a red sweatband on his head, a red T-shirt, blue jeans and white and red shoes, on the day of the incident, reportedly fled the scene.

Blake is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
