Henry Stauffer Dies In Horse-Drawn Buggy Hit-And-Run Accident In Loveville, Maryland

Henry Brubacher Stauffer Death – Obituary : 65-year-old Henry Brubacher Stauffer, of Loveville has died following a deadly hit-and-run accident involving a car and a horse-drawn buggy that happened at that intersection of Point Lookout Road and Loveville Road around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 in St. Mary’s County, Maryland.

Preliminary investigation revealed that, the incident happened in Loveville when a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado heading southbound on Point Lookout Road from Loveville Road veered off the centerline and struck the horse-drawn buggy Stauffer was ridding.

Stauffer who was the only occupant of the buggy was extricated and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. On the other hand, the driver of the Chevrolet fled the scene of the incident on foot without stopping to render assistance.
