“I’m one of many shocked by the sudden passing of local Capital District musician and funny guy Gino Nistico ..A one of a kind guy that will be greatly missed by many. Rock on my friend. Every time someone mentions Merlot I’ll be thinking of you”.
“They definitely broke the mold and threw it away when they made this man.
My Uncle Gino was one of the FUNNIEST, caring, kind, loving, loyal men you will ever meet in this world. He knew how to work hard, have fun and make people laugh (usually uncontrollably).
He was also a talented artist, a musician and was a great drummer and singer. Most people don’t know he could draw really well too.
He was truly one of a kind and really knew how to live life to the fullest. He always took care of his loved ones and made sure people around him were smiling. He didn’t have any children of his own but many young kids surrounded him and looked up to him. Anyone who met him- even just once, guaranteed would NEVER forget him.
Sharing this pic from the good old days, might just have to do a shot of Jaeger later .
Godspeed Uncle G
‘Til we meet again. 💜”
