Helen I. Salvador passed away peacefully in her home on December 26, 2021. She was born on October 17, 1933 in Santa Maria, California, eventually settling in Fremont Ca in the late 40’s.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Joseph A. Salvador, mother Eva Vierra and father Joseph Vierra, brothers Roland and Michael Vierra, sister Phyllis Worley (John), and A. Joanie Vierra.
She leaves her three children Nicholas, Mark (Linda), and Vicki Salvador and three grandchildren, Ian, Adam, and Nicole. Brother Ed Vierra (Sandy) and sister Paula Delgado (Ernie).

She was a graduate of Washington High School in 1951. After taking several years to start and raise her family she went to work for the FUSD where she worked for 26 years at the district offices as the supervisor of the budget.
Helen was very active in her church, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Following her retirement she devoted her time to her community, preparing meals and feeding the homeless at her neighborhood Presbyterian Church, and distributing food to hungry families thru the St. Vincent de Paul food bank. She also spent about 20 years researching both the Salvador and Vierra family genealogies. Helen was very loved and will be missed.

Visitation Services at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church
Tuesday, January 18th from 2PM-5PM.
Mass Wednesday, January 19th at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
Burial will be at a later date.
