Hawaii News Now – Family of 6 year-old girl missing from Waimanalo on Sunday seeks help in finding her.
Isabella Kalua Missing:
Isabella Kalua, 6 year-old has been reported missing from Waimanalo. She was said to have been adopted an her name was changed from Ariel to Isabella by her adopted parents.
According to sources, Isabella was seen last on Sunday, 12th of September 2021 at her residence in Puha Street, Waimanalo. She was said to have just disappeared and her family who are worried sick reported her missing to the Honolulu police.
Isabella Kalua search:
The Honolulu police launched search for the 6 year-old immediately she was reported missing. Door to door search in the area are been carried out as well as vehicle checks and she remains missing.
Sgt. Chris Kim, of Crime Stoppers said “Let’s do our part in helping to bring her home, in a news conference on Monday afternoon. We need the community. Please rally together to bring 6-year-old Isabella home. If you know anything about this case, please contact HPD or Crime Stoppers.”
The family of Isabella was said to have organized a search team in the beach along with other volunteers who searched the area.
Her biological aunt Lana Idao said during the search “We thank everyone who did come out, You know, a lot of love support and prayers so we thank everyone. Because I’m a mom and it’s sad that this would happen in our close knit community.”
A search volunteer said “We worry about our kids every day. I mean not really here, because we’re so close and everybody watches each other’s kids and this kind of stuff happening, it’s scary.”
Lynn Kawano tweeted “CPS has taken the siblings of a missing 6-yr old girl as an intense police search continues. Isabella Kalua was last seen in her Waimanalo home around 9 pm, police were called about 6 am by her adoptive mom. HPD is seeking the public’s help.”
Isabella Kalua description:
The 6 year-old is described as a White female who is approximately 3’3″ feet tall and weighs about 46 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
Isabella was seen last wearing a black hoodie and leggings, colorful socks and Nikes with pink bottoms.
No distinctive features or birth marks has been given.
Has Isabella Kalua been found?
At the time of this report, Isabella has not been found and remains missing.
