Gunman wanted for shooting at children in Orange Mound
Officials are looking for the suspect who fired shots, while hanging out of the window of a moving vehicle, at a group of children walking down the Street in Orange Mound, Memphis.
The incident happened near the intersection of Deadrick Ave. and Baltimore St. at about 1:40 p.m. on Saturday. Police say about four boys were walking down Deadrick Ave. when someone in a white four-door Nissan Altima leaned out of the car and opened fire, striking three children. EMS located the victims and transported them to the hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.
Investigators say the shooter fired a rifle from the front passenger seat. No arrest has been made.
