Gregory Tramel death – obituary, cause of death : Gregory Tramel 51, is dead. he is the second teacher to die at Clarksville-Montgomery County school in one month.
Gregory was a 6th grade Social Studies teacher at Kenwood Middle School. he was a perfect example of what it means to be a wonderful person. He had a calming presence and was extremely kind, he touched the hearts of so many, and was an inspiration to everyone who knew him.
Gregory Tramel was the second CMCSS teacher to have died this month. Christie Litchfield, 45, who also taught at Woodlawn Elementary School for over 20 years, died on September 6th 2021.
Principal Jeremiah Davis said the school will have additional counselors available to assist students and staff as needed. He also announced the cancellation of afterschool club activities, volleyball practice and girls’ basketball conditioning for Monday.
The principal also stated that, in addition to the deaths of Tramel and Litchfield, another Kenwood Middle teacher is currently hospitalized Principal Davis said.
Principal Davis message read “Please keep Mr. Ferebee and Mrs. Ferebee in your prayers as well, as he is currently having a very difficult time in the hospital,”
James Ferebee is the school’s social and emotional learning coordinator, and Jennifer Ferebee is a STEM teacher.

Cause of death:
When he was asked about both teachers’ causes of death, CMCSS Chief Communication Officer Anthony Johnson told Clarksville Now that the school system cannot disclose any employee’s health information.
