Greg MacIsaac Death – Obituary – A WAB founding teacher and employee, Greg MacIsaac, died peacefully in his homeland Canada. The cause of his death is known to be – battling a rare type of cancer.
Greg was popularly calked Fella in his community. He was a teacher, videographer, and consultant.
MacIsaac’s camera was tireless in recording the history of WAB and he was a master of storytelling.
Dr. Marta Medved Krajnovic head of WAB school posted on Facebook; the part of the message says, “Greg MacIsaac was the essence of WAB. He helped shape us as a joyful, sometimes quirky, and “everything is possible” type of place. He helped make WAB a place that, no matter what, always put student learning and wellbeing in the center.”
Andre Latta said, “That’s very sad… I was at the WAB from 1995 to 1997 and still remember him clearly. He was my maths teacher. I remember him as a kind and gentle person, always cheerful and enthusiastic and with a big smile always lighting his face. May he rest in peace. My condolences to the family and friends.”
Kate Fay Laing Chen said, “This is so hard to read. Just a kind, happy, strong friend. We have lost a wonderful man.”
