Greg “Bangers” Bantock Death: Obituary – The Warragul Fire Brigade and fellow CFA member announced the death of Greg Bantock who died after a great battle with illness.

Since 2001 Greg has served as a volunteer with the Warragul Fire Brigade. He served as 1st Lieutenant from 2002-2004.

Bantock joined the CFA back in 1983 where he served with the Thorpdale & Trafalgar brigades.

Bantock was the current District Support Officer at District 9 and an active Volunteer within the Baw Baw Group, providing endless support in the Training and Logistics space, including stints as Baw Baw Group DGO and Training coordinator.

Greg was recognized for his dedicated and diligent service for more than 37+ years.

He was also providing training to recruits who still serve as active Firefighters across the district today.

Tyler Hogan Captain Warragul Fire Brigade said: “On behalf of the Warragul Fire Brigade, we send our thoughts and deepest sympathies to Greg’s family and friends during this sad time.”
