Gerrit Surette Missing – Update: What happened to missing teen in Surrey?

Gerrit Surette Missing – Family and friends are increasingly worried about the well-being of a missing juvenile.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police are appealing to the public for help in finding a 14-year old boy in Surrey.

A relative in Kelowna says the teen could be passing through the Okanagan.

Police are concerned for his safety and wellbeing. A family member in Kelowna reached out to Castanet, and suggested Gerrit might be possibly passing through the area.

Report says Gerrit Surette was last seen at Fleetwood Park Secondary School in Surrey at about 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 26.

Gerrit is described as 5’7” tall, weighs 150 pounds, has dark-blonde hair. He was wearing a black and white tracksuit.

Anyone with information that could lead the police to Surette’s whereabouts is asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502.

According to the police, 14-year-old Gerrit Surette, who went missing in Surrey has been found safe, has family in Kelowna.
