Gary W. Bissett death – obituary, cause of death : Gary W. Bissett 57, of Fairmont, is dead. He passed away at the Preston Memorial Hospital at 2:57am, Monday, February 9, 2015.
Gary was born in Everson, on October 23rd 1957 to the late Earl Edward and Sarah Juanita Watson Bissett. He was a much-loved character who touched the lives of so many with his big heart, wisdom and greatness, His pleasures were simple, His needs were few. If his family was happy, He was too. He gave us love in the fullest measure, Care, devotion and memories to treasure. He shared our dreams, hopes and tears.
Bissett was a loving husband who was best known for his infectious sense of humor and making everyone laugh. he was greatly admired for his athletic abilities in school and he passed his love and passion for sports down to all his children
The 57 years old had a caring heart, generous attitude and a fun-loving personality that laid the foundation for years of lifelong friendships. It didn’t matter what you needed, he would be there to help you celebrate, mourn, fix things, build something or to just listen and offer a shoulder to cry on or smile to laugh with.
The little reminders that cause tears today will turn into little reminders that make us sad and then those little reminders will eventually make us smile and remember Gray just as he would have wanted us to-with love, a grin and maybe a cold one.
He is survived by his son, Gary Rigsby, grandson, Gary Rigsby, Jr., his step-mother, Mary Bissett, his former wife, Vicky Meadows, three brothers, Roger Bissett and his wife Sue,, Danny Bissett and his wife Darlene, John Bissett and his companion Jo Treece, two sisters, Nancy Bissett, Sarah Juanita Rollyson, one brother-in-law and caregiver, Walter Augustus, Fairmont, three step sisters, Violet Bissett, Clarksburg, Vera and Alice Bissett, and several nieces and nephews.
Cause of death:
The circumstances surrounding the actual cause of death had not been made public as at the time of writing this report.
Friends may call at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston from 11am until the time of the service at 1pm, Wednesday, February 11, with Pastor Delores White officiating. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Enterprise.
