Frank Stewart Hamilton, Jr. passed away at 91 years old on December 31, 2021. He was beloved by so many for his kind and loving nature.

He was born June 9, 1930 to Mary and Frank Hamilton in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and grew up in Springfield, PA. He went to Grove City College, then to Princeton Seminary, where he graduated in 1955. He received his Doctorate of Theology at San Francisco Theological Seminary in 1972. Frank married his first wife Betty in 1955 after moving to California to serve in his first church. He was a Presbyterian minister serving in various churches for over 35 years: Trinity Presbyterian in Spring Valley, Calvary Presbyterian in South Pasadena, Redwoods Presbyterian in Larkspur, East San Diego Presbyterian, and finally at Church of the Roses in Santa Rosa. He also served on the staff of The Synod of California.

He married the love of his life, Ro, in 1977. He was treasured by many for his ministry, his wise counsel, his kindness, and love. Frank had a great sense of humor and could laugh at himself. He had a wonderful smile. He was joyful and had light in his eyes.

He is survived by his sister, Lyn Hamilton; his three daughters Cynthia Hamilton (Lewis Hurwitz), Carolyn Sue Hamilton, and Janet Hamilton; his stepdaughters Alicia Calland and Wendy Masarweh (Ross Masarweh); and his grandchildren Alyssa McDougle, Chad Masarweh, Nadia Masarweh, Paula Masarweh, Corey Icet and Keith Waldheim.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ro Hamilton and his stepson Steve Calland.
