Plainville Ct, Robertson Airport Crash in Trumpf Inc Building in Connecticut Hyde Road
Trumpf Plane Crash In Farmington Connecticut, Hyde Road- Authorities gathered at the scene where a plane crashed into Trumpf Inc. building in Farmington on Hyde Road around 10 a.m.
Farmington Police Lt. Tim McKenzie revealed that over 100 people were inside the building at the time of the crash but non of the occupants was hurt.
According to Farmington police, the plane with four occupants; two pilots and two other passenger, took off from Robertson Airport in Plainville and was heading to Dare County Regional Airport in Manteo, N.C. It crashed in Farmington due to mechanical failure it had during take-off.
The victims that died in the plane crash have been identified as:
- 55-year-old William O’Leary, of Bristol, death obituary
- 57-year-old Mark Morrow, 57, of Danbury, death obituary
- 33-year-old Courtney Haviland, death obituary
- 32-year-old William Shrauner, death obituary
“The plane was a Cessna Citation 560X.” said the Federal Aviation Administration.
The fatal crash is still under investigation by the FAA and NTSB.
