According to reports, four people were killed and two others were wounded, in multiple shooting in Chicago Tuesday, including a 16-year-old who was fatally shot in Little Village on the West Side.
About at 7:20 p.m., a teen was near a sidewalk in the 2500 block of South Harding Avenue, when two people reportedly approached him and one opened fire.
He was struck in the head and was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He has not been identified yet, Chicago police say.
About an hour earlier, a man was reportedly shot dead on the South Side.
At about 6:10 p.m., the 28-year-old was found on the entrance of a residence on the 300 block of East 131st Place with multiple gunshot wounds to his body, according to the police, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another man was killed in a shooting in Austin on the West Side, reports states.
The 31-year-old was reportedly near a sidewalk at about 2:45 p.m. in the 4800 block of West Fulton Street when someone walked up to him and opened fire, striking him multiple times. The man was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, he was pronounced dead.
Another person was found shot dead in Riverdale on the South Side at about 2 a.m., the unidentified male was found outside in the 700 block of East 132nd Street.
The man was found with a gunshot wound to his neck, he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Police. A person of interest is reportedly being questioned.
According to reports, some non fatal shooting incidents were also reported.
A 63-year-old woman was shot in East Garfield Park on the West Side at about 11:15 p.m., reports states.
Police disclosed a woman was at home sleeping in the 3300 block of West Washington Boulevard, when she heard several shots fired through a window and felt a pain, she was struck in the back, according to the police, she was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where she is reportedly in a good condition.
One other person was reported shot, but there is released information on the incident.
