Paula Stopera Death – Obituary – Former CEO of CAP COM Federal Credit Union, Paula Stopera has been reported dead. Stopera passed away on Tuesday, 6th of July, 2021. She was 64-year-old. Her cause of death is associated with a brief illness.
Stopera ranked as CEO in CAP COM for 15 years, helping the credit union grow to 130,000 members, 360 employees and $1.8 billion in assets, after which she stepped down as the CEO in 2019 after 39 years with the credit union and 15 years as CEO, because she was hired as a membership relationship manager.
At age 64, Stopera is survived by her daughter Amanda Goyer, son-in-law Chris Goyer, and grandsons Roen and Noah. Her son Alex Stopera, who had worked at CAP COM, also died in 2016.
