77-year-old woman dies in A9 two-vehicle accident near Grangemouth
A 77-year-old pensioner has died of injuries suffered following a two-car accident that occurred on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at about 7.10 p.m. on Polmont road.
According to report, the pensioner was driving orange Toyota Aygo on the A9 when her car collided with a black Audi A5 at the intersection of Beancross Restaurant and Hotel.
Mercy emergency crews arrived the scene and administered CPR on the woman, but sadly, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash.
It was not made know if the driver of the other vehicle was hurt. Nine troopers, three fire engines, two ambulances and specialist paramedics responded to the crash.
Inspector Keith Warhurst, of road policing is soliciting with those who witness the fatal crash or have dash cam footage to contact Scotland Police on 101 quoting the reference number 2917 of September 28.
