German football star loses son in quad accident
Emilio 18, the son of Ex-Chelsea midfielder, Michael Ballack’s has reportedly died in a quad crash in Portugal.
According to report, Emilio died in the accident around 2:a.m on Thursday morning at the family’s Villas do Mar estate, south of Lisbon, Portugal.
Emilio was riding on uneven ground when the bike rolled back, landed on him and crushed him to dead, police told Portuguese media.
Firefighters had to pull him pulled him out of the wreck before medics tried to revive him, but all their efforts proved abortive and he was pronounced dead on the scene of the crash.
Emilio’s body was taken to Institute of Forensic Medicine in the city of Santiago de Cacem for a post-mortem.
Emilio was the the second son of Ballack’s three sons and he was born in 2002 to his then girlfriend Simone Lambe.
