Emidio DiMartino of West Greenwich Obituary – Death : A fisherman reportedly died in West Greenwich last week after he was fell into water and was swept by the wave. 50-year-old Emidio DiMartino was confirmed as the victim of the accident. According to reports from the Narragansett police, they were called to he area of Hazard Avenue at about 4pm as a man was reportedly swept up the rocks.
The responders found DiMartino unresponsive when he was brought out of the water. They performed first aid CPR on him and immediately took him to the nearest hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Witnesses opened up to the police that DiMartino was fishing along the rocky shoreline and had reached for a bucket when he was knocked into the water by a wave. He is survived by his lovely family and devoted friends he left behind.
