Edward “Ed” Shepard Obituary – Edward “Ed” Shepard, Sr., of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 5, 2022. He was born to the late Edward F. Shepard and Margaret (Archer) Shepard on April 13, 1927 in Denver, Colorado. He was 94 years, 8 months and 22 days.
Edward loved his family, and was a hard worker. He had a sheet metal business and did heating and air for 50 years. He loved raising his children. He was always there for them no matter what the need was. It was family first, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a World War II vet and M.P. in the army, he was a man of God and strong faith.
Ed leaves behind three daughters; Rose Hunsucker and husband Jerry, Teresa Bass and husband Daniel, Kristie Shaddon and husband Daniel and one son Jody Shepard. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great- grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dorothy, one son Dutch, one daughter Paulette and one great-granddaughter Lilly. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 8, 2022 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with his daughters, Prophetess Kristie Shepard and Rose Hunsucker officiating. Burial will follow the service at Pilot Prairie Cemetery under the direction of Martin Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Dale Means, Johnny Gibbs, Marcus Richmond, Jacob Root, Isaac Bass and Jaime Nunez. Honorary pallbearers are Justin Cox and Jacob Bass.
