Dunlop Ian Scott death – obituary, cause of death : Dunlop Ian Scott 64, of Burlington. Has died. He passed away at St. Joseph Hospital, Hamilton on Thursday October 11, 2007.
Dunlop was tenacious, curious and always mastered what he did very quickly. he was deeply passionate and his sense of humor was a gift to all those who knew him. He loved taking care of animals. He will always be remembered as a gentle, caring, warm, big blue-eyed, special young man who had an immeasurable bond with his brother.
The little reminders that cause tears today will turn into little reminders that make us sad and then those little reminders will eventually make us smile and remember Dunlop just as he would have wanted us to-with love, a grin and maybe a cold one.
Ian was a dedicated and loving husband, a father that demonstrated that greatness could be achieved through hard work and passion and a man that exemplified that a humble spirit and joyous heart could improve the lives of all around him.
He is survived by his wife Christine; his children, Scott, Leslie, Helen Robertson and her husband Kyle, and Nick; his grandchildren, Morgan, Liam and Sarah, and his father, Walter.

The circumstances surrounding the actual cause of death had not been made public as at the time of writing this report.
Funeral Service will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Monday October 15, 2007 at 1 p.m. Cremation. If desired, expressions of sympathy to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
