Drivers killed following argument on I-80 in Berkeley
Two drivers have reportedly lost their lives after leaving their vehicles to argue about a crash on I-80 Berkeley on Sunday morning.
According to report, the fatal crash happened on Sunday, September 12, 2021 around 1:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-80, west of University Avenue.
The accident involved a Chevrolet Malibu and a Dodge Durango. The drivers of the vehicles and a female passenger alighted from the cars and started arguing.
The drivers of the vehicles were struck and killed by oncoming Mini Cooper who attempted dodging the stationed vehicles. Both drivers were confirmed dead at the scene of the crash.
While the female passenger was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. She was believed to have been hit by debris from the crash.
