Dr Will Thornton Death – Obituary: Earbus Foundation of WA on Facebook announced the death of One of Earbus Foundation’s original and much-admired GPs, Dr Will Thornton, on August 18, 2021.
Dr Will lost his life in a motorcycle accident in the UK on Wednesday on his way to work in Buckinghamshire, UK.
According to report, Friday 20, August should have been his 48th birthday but it is unfortunate that death could not let him live to see that.
Earbus Foundation of WA stated that they salutes Will for his brilliant work with Aboriginal kids and families and his wonderful company on long road trips into regional towns across the Pilbara and Goldfields regions of Western Australia.
“Earbus co-founders, Paul Higginbotham, Lara Shur and Dee Parker, worked alongside Will for many years and missed him when he relocated with his wife and children from Maida Vale to the UK in 2016.”
Will will truly be missed, it is a great loss to those he had encounter with. He was a truly decent man and an inspiring colleague. He contributed largly to the growth of of Earbus.
Sharon Lamb said, “Very saddened to learn that a brilliant GP we used to see at Sorrento Medical centre, Dr Will Thornton tragically died in a motorbike accident last week on his way to work in Buckinghamshire, UK where he has been based with his wife and family since Covid. Such a lovely man and a great loss.
