Douglas Barter Missing – Search for missing Maine man underway

Douglas Barter Missing – The public’s assistance is needed in locating a missing Waldoboro man.

WALDOBORO, Maine –  Officials are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of man who was missing after leaving hospital against medical advice.

The police are looking for 54-year-old Douglas Barter who they say left a hospital after going against the advice of medical officials.

Douglas Barter, was last seen around 4:30 p.m. on Monday. He was seen leaving the Lincoln Health Miles Campus Hospital in Damariscotta.

According to police, he is a resident of the East Ridge Mobile Home Park.

Deputies describe Barter as a White male, who is 5’7″ tall and weighs 150 pounds.

At the time of this report, there is no information stating that Douglas Barter has been found and she is still considered a missing person.
