Bond has been denied for a man accused of fatal shooting one and injuring another in Kershaw County.
According to the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office, 41-year-old Donald Coolidge, of Lugoff has been reportedly arrested and charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder and possession of a weapon why committing a violent crime in connection with a shooting Monday afternoon on Westover Acres Lane in Lugoff.
Officials say the victim, Alan Leon Holloway,25, of Lugoff was transported to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Deputies disclosed Coolidge was taken into custody at his home shortly after the shooting occurred.
Officers believes the shooting started from an argument between Coolidge and the victims.
The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources assisted the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation.
Coolidge is currently being held at the Kershaw County Detention Center.
