Alan Rosen, a Harris County Precinct 1 Constable said  a deputy and a suspect were shot after a police chase at the late hours of Wednesday in North Houston.

Deputies tried to stop a car following a traffic wrong, reports stated the driver drove past without stopping and a police chase ensued.

Authorities said the case lasted for almost half an hour, as they got close to the vehicle, officials disclosed they copied the plate number and ran a check, only to discover that it was stole.

At about 10:20  p.m., on the North of Little York Rd. and Hardy Toll intersection, just at the 1200 Block of Mitchell Rd, officials say the vehicle struck a deputy of Harris County Precinct 1.

Officials transported him to the Hospital , where he was listed in a critical condition .

Authorities also said the suspect was shot and in an undisclosed condition at the hospital.
