Everyone who loved Delaney knew a human angel. She was creative and kind, a beautiful young woman. In any given day she could be forceful, strong, sensitive and caring, quiet and loud.
Delaney was a gifted artist, using her talent to express deep feelings and a passion for life. She loved the natural world, including animals, flowers, plants and stones. Selfless and thoughtful, she championed the underdog and people in need. Our dear sweet angel made her way here and left us more gifts than sorrow. Her sensitivity was too much for the world. She held all a human heart can and leaves a legacy of perseverance in the midst of her personal and physical struggle.

Our intent is to use these proceeds to help Dr. Anne Powell at UMASS Worcester’s Eating Disorder Outpatient Program. She was an integral part of our journey with Delaney. She understood our struggles with compassion and professionalism. She went above and beyond to offer her expertise at those times we felt entirely abandoned in the system. We thank you for honoring Delaney with us, while we rally to help others suffering in a similar way.
We pray that God grants those who are affected by this death the fortitude to carry on. Losing a beloved one is one of the most difficult feelings on earth. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family members and friend.
